He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his daughter Mary Pierce (David); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Sam), Sam (Meg) and Jack (Jess); his son James Schimanski (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Maggie, Katie and Tristan (Carly); his daughter Lori McDermott (Jim); his grandchildren, Shawn and Kelly; and his great grandchild Russell Wyman.
