He was predeceased by: his parents, Gauin McCoy and Vivienne McCoy (Carlson); and his sisters, Bettie Kelley (James) and Ann Gross (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Maja; his children, Karin McCoy (Joseph Barker), Kristina Blankinship (Brian) and Carl McCoy (Sarah); and his brother-in-law Thomas Svenningsson (Marianne). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and their children.
