Ethel I. Whiteman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel I. Whiteman of Delmar, New York, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ethel's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ethel has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Kleinke (Burckhard) and Edward Kleinke; her husband Ronald L. Whiteman; and her siblings, Helen Springer (William), Dorothy Krouse (William), Edward Kleinke (Jean) and Peter Kleinke (Linda).
She is survived by: her brother Paul Kleinke (Ann). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home (490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Unity Lutheran Church (1500 Western Ave, Albany, NY 12203).
In lieu of flowers contributions to Unity Lutheran Church or Capital City Rescue Mission 259 S. Pearl St. Albany, NY 12202 will be appreciated.
