He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Holmes and Ruth Barton Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Holmes; his sons, Dennis Holmes (LeeAnn) and Steven Holmes (Christi); his brother Gerald Holmes (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Daniel Abatto, Jean Abatto, Mary Rogers, Jeanne, Michael Jenks and Christopher Abatto; and his grandchildren, Paul and Deanna Holmes. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
