He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Young and Cassie Young (Williams); and his sister Mildred Berard (George). He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Susan McCormick (Shawn) of North Greenbush, Elizabeth Waidelich (Walter) and David Young of Ravena; and his grandchildren, Kelly McCormick (Byron), Shawn Michael McCormick (Hannah), Kevin McCormick (Carly), Christian Waidelich (Katrina), Anne Marie Litchfield (Kyle), Victoria Young and Alexis Young. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Art's name may be made to Albany Co. Society of Mayflower Descendants, 21 Maplecrest Dr. Ravena, NY 12143.
