It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon McGrade of Delhi, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon McGrade to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Hamm and Jean Doris Hamm (Graves); and her brother Dennis Hamm. She is survived by: her husband Mick McGrade; her children, Denny Schmidt (Kim), Denise Hale (Bret), Dellene Carson (Len) and Donny Schmidt; her grandchildren, Dan Wood (Kyrstin), Samaria Schmidt, Curtis Schmidt, Keri Lynn Schmidt and Caprice Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Bella, Javin, Donovan, Calvin, Everly and Kythira; her sister Linda Tisencheck (Don); her nieces and nephews, Amy Tisencheck, Rod, Michael and Mary Beth Hamm; and her pet Kemo.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bookhout Funeral Home (357 Main St, Oneonta, NY 13820). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society, 46610 New York 10, Delhi, NY 13753 in loving memory of Sharon D. McGrade.
