She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Sweeney and Mary Spaziani; her children, Chris (Ellie) of Schenevus, Jason (Lisa) of Bovina, Kati (Nick) of Rochester, Stephanie (Anthony) of Toms River, NJ, Carly (Bobby) of Sacramento, CA and Cecelia (AJ) of Traverse City, MI.; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Courtney, Jack, Ian, Alex, Jamie, Albert, Frances, Dorothy and Johnny; her great grandchildren, Gianna and Hailey; her brother Charles Sweeney; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Chicorelli (John) and Lenda Turner (Ken); her husband Bill Stanton of Margaretville; her siblings-in-law, Scott of Oneonta and Alice of Goodyear Lake; and her close friends, Shirley, Edde Jean, Terry, Dalton, Robert and Mary. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Church of Lake Delaware (55 Lake Delaware Dr, Delhi, NY 13753).
In place of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Margaretville Fire Department in her memory.
