He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ackerley and Thelma Schrieber Ackerley; his wife Joann Genosa Ackerley; and his siblings, Jack and Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Ackerley (Christina) of Delancey, NY, Betty Jo Mootz (Scott) of Roscoe, NY, Kimberly Ann Brachner (Randall) of Appleton, WI and Stephanie Ackerley of Tanberg, NY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home - Roscoe (11 Railroad Ave, Roscoe, NY 12776).
