George Verspoor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2023, at the age of 88, George Verspoor of Delhi, New York, born in Sayville, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Verspoor to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Verspoor and Georgiana Verspoor (Ruzicka); and his brother Clarence Verspoor, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joan Verspoor (Ford) of Delhi; his children, Robin Verspoor of Edenton, NC, Tracey Hood (Martin) of Delhi, Gregg Verspoor (Amy) of Delhi, Matthew Verspoor (Darlene) of Havelock, NC and Nichole Cairns (Bill) of Delhi; and his brother Louis Verspoor (Carolyn) of Canandaigua. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Buzzy's life will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Delhi Fire Hall, 140 Delview Terrace Ext., Delhi, with Rev. Brett White, Contributions in memory of Buzzy may be made to the Delhi Fire Department or to Helios Care (http://www.helioscare.org).
