He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Commandeur and Edward Commandeur; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Arden Keller; his daughters, Diane Commandeur (Paul) and Patricia Commandeur (Charles); and his siblings, Deborah Corcoran (Jim) and Peter Commandeur (Denise). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece.
He donated a kidney to his brother which remains 27 years strong.
