He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Heppner and Hazel Heppner (Bayer); his brothers, Edward Burau, Richard Burau (Betty), Donald, Jack, William and Henry Heppner; his grandson Daniel Little; and his great grandchild Ethan Bigham.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Heppner, Jr. of Varysburg, James Heppner of Delevan, Holly Schoepflin of Machias, Joseph Heppner of Delevan, Sara Jane Etcheverry (James) of Machias and Catherine Sink (David) of Delevan; and his sisters, Hazel Berry (Danny) of Holland and Dawn Wittenrich (Michael) of Sebastian, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
