She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Smith; her parents, Joseph Bainbridge and Helen Bainbridge; her brother Robert Bainbridge; and also Gail Brannigan.
She is survived by: her stepfather Raymond Childs; her sons, Joseph (Sarah), James (Dawn), David (Sharon) and Donald (Sharon); and her brother Jerry. She is also survived by her family which included 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
