It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen J. Hedges of Delevan, New York, born in Hamburg, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Hedges and Alta Hedges (King); and his siblings, Jean Davis (Fred), George Hedges (Jeanette), Donald Hedges (Marge), Richard Hedges (Ruth), Mary Moore (Woody) and Dale Hedges (Donna).
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hedges (Ahrens); and his children, Donna Tingue (Squeek) of Tollesboro, KY, Becky Hedges (Bob Deptula) of Delevan, Randy Hedges of Delevan and Laurie Gerstenslager of Delevan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
