He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Deay and Annie Deay (Schoonmaker); his brothers, William H. Deay and Alton Deay; and his niece Jacqueline Sprague.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Deay (Barbara) of Charlton and Sandra Niedzwiadek (Walter) of Watervliet; and his grandsons, Lucas, Colin Deay (Sarah), Nicholas and Daniel Niedzwiadek.
