He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanton and Edna Mae Stanton (Madison); his siblings, Edward, Joe, John, Tom and Audra; and his brother-in-law John Caswell.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Stanton (Elizabeth) of Allegany, NY and Kathleen Stanton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Caswell M. Stanton of Keno, OR and Allan J. Stanton of Penfield, NY; and his brother-in-law George Caswell of New Kingston, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
