He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Cangro. He is survived by: his family Man; his wife Gail Cangro; and his grandchildren, Jagger Lucas, Demi Botta, Jett Lucas, Alexis Lucas, Jesse Lucas, Dean Botta and Victor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“Years ago I met "Uncle Vic" at my place of work. He kept asking me "Do you know who I am?" I'd answer "Yes, you're Mr. Cangro!" over and over again, he thought that was funny, I'm still not sure why. Only managed to call him Uncle Vic. I have seen them less and less over the years (I asked for a pix, he sent the one above). I've always felt that if I had a problem, Uncle Vic would listen, I've always felt like he was the big brother I never had. I will miss you always. Rest in God's loving arms.”
