He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise Capaldo; and his daughters, Elizabeth Scoggins, Nancy Capaldo, Rosemary Capaldo and Charlene Muro. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a rock solid friend and confidant for my father, who was slightly older, and he was an invaluable mentor for me, who was a young twenty something. My father passed in '84 and I lost contact w Rich over the years. Despite the loss of contact and the time in between, I am terribly saddened to read here that Rich has passed.
