He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Hendricks; his son Peter Hendricks; his daughter-in-law Darlene Hendricks; and his siblings, Walter Jr., Winifred, Michael, Catherine, Daniel, Ruth, Mary and Lucille.

He is survived by: his children, Cathy Fabian (Tom), Michael Hendricks and Jim Avery Hendricks; his grandchildren, Thomas Peter Fabian, Michael Peter Hendricks, Caitlin Ann Fabian, Taylor Anne Hendricks, Daniel Peter Hendricks, Terence Avery and Richard Avery; his great grandchildren, Niko, Alana and Michael; and his brother Anthony.
