He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Michael (Nancy), Matthew (Suzanne), Christy Petruzzelli (Jeff) and Dan (Bridget); his sister Kathleen Taggart; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa McLeod and Edward McEvoy. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to NYCPBA Widows and Orphans Fund.
