It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. McCarthy (Deer Park, New York), who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard McCarthy; and her siblings, Phyllis (Donald), Elizabeth (Donald) and Philip (Molly). She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Charles Clark), Sharon, Joan (Frank Eck) and Gerard (Noel); her grandchildren, Meghan Clark, Kaitlin Clark, Chip Clark, Franklin Eck, Bridget McCarthy, Kayla McCarthy and Julia Eck; and her siblings, Dorothy Lannon, Mary (Thomas Reilly), Robert (Marion) and Peggy (Sal Cavarra). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Catholic Charities of Long Island.
