He is survived by: his wife Susanna Alcaro Funk; his children, Christine Doherty, Michelle Setters, Michael Funk (Blanca) and Rachel Ullman (Nicholas); his sister Michelle Dragone (Thomas); his grandchildren, Ryan (Tiffany), Sean, Tyler (Jennifer), Liam, Chloe, Maya, Luke and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Nolan and Thomas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family (1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
