We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2023, at the age of 88, Shirley J. Strong of Deansboro, New York, born in Blossvale, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hilliker and Martha Jones Hilliker; her husband Gil; her siblings, Harold (Agnes), Donald (Mert), Norman (Verna), Edmund (Katherine), Audrey (Russ), Patricia (Robert) and Joyce (Sam); her siblings-in-law, Charles (Audrey), Keith (Virginia), Carlton (Charlotte), Laverne (Ann), Theodore (Patricia), David, Dickey, Gilford, Phyllis, Lewis, Kay (Casey) and Judy; and her great grandchild Noah.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert A. "Butch" Strong, Jr. (Patricia) of Deansboro, Karen Diliberto of Macedon and William Strong (Diane) of Madison; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Mennig (Lewis) of Munnsville, June Strong of Mt. Juliet, TN, Janet Strong of Knoxboro, Mary Strong of Interlochen, FL, Michelle Strong of Bouckville, William Strong of Knoxboro and Robert Strong (Lori) of Oneida; her grandchildren, Andrea (Stephen), Jeremy (Renee), Amanda (Brer), Amy, Lisa, Jennifer, Kerry (Shawn), Kristi (Eric) and Kimberly; and her great grandchild Alexandria.
