He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lallier and Leona Lallier (Smith); and his sister Martha Fetterly. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Linder; his children, Virginia (Ronald Deep), Judith (Michael Pasick), James Lallier (Sue Cushman), Joseph (Tina Lallier) and Amy (Patrick Foreman); his grandchildren, Christopher, Carrie Lallier, Ryan Lallier, Sarah, Patrick Putney, Lisa Pasick, Michael Deep, Melissa Deep, Nicole Foreman and Lily Foreman; and his siblings, Jean Blair, Mary Schermerhorn, Louis Lallier, Susan (Michael Kochem), Theresa (David Linder), Elizabeth Furner, Richard (Joyce Lallier), Walter (Janet Lallier), Rosemary Painter and Steven (Joann Lallier). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
