With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis V. Montgomery of Davenport, New York, born in Oneonta, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Montgomery and Juanita Montgomery; his wife Joyce (Briggs); and his siblings, Tom and Vernadine.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Moore (John) of Oneonta and Cheryl Shove (Gary) of Oneonta; his grandchildren, Nathan, Emily and Elizabeth; and his brother Clarence "Pete" Montgomery (Alice) of Davenport. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pindars Corners Fire Department.
