He is survived by: his wife Teresa Merwin (Jones) of Davenport; his children, Shawn Anderson (Brandy) of Jefferson, Jennifer Buckler (Owen) of Davenport, Larry Merwin (Robin) of Davenport and Rowena Smith of Albany; his grandchildren, Destiny (Paul), Bryanna, Damien, Jordan, Dylan, Jaiden, Aubrey, Brendon and Forest; and his siblings, Debra Bliss (Larry) and Daniel Merwin (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
