It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yvonne Lombardo of Davenport Center, New York, born in Sidney, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Virginia Hone (Hall); and her husband Joe. She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbi-Lynn Palmer (Kurt) of Alaska and Gina Schermerhorn (Chris) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Dennis Allen, Autumn Allen, Jessakka Mraz (Joe), Christopher Schermerhorn II, Zachary Schermerhorn (Hannah) and Mathieu Schermerhorn; her sister Sandra Lou Jones of Maryland; and her brothers-in-law, Anthony Lombardo (Rose) and Frank Lombardo (Madeline). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; and many friends.
The family request any donations should be made to the local humane society/animal shelter of one's choice, Operation Smile, or Shriner's Hospital.
