With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet S. Buckenmeyer (Darien Center, New York), who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles J. Buckenmeyer Jr.; her parents, William McGennis and Florence McGennis (Strawbrich); her father-in-law Charles; her sister Elizabeth Place (late George); and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Buckenmeyer, Mary, Catherine Raines (Paul), George Buckenmeyer (Dorothy), Dorothy, Lucy and Margaret Hofmann (James).
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Kendall (Douglas), Charles Buckenmeyer (late Elaine), Darlene Markle (Burke), Mary Ann Kozak (George), Cindy Adriaenssens (Jay) and Theresa Kisiel; her mother-in-law Margaret Buckenmeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Falkowski, Francis Buckenmeyer (late Joan), Edward Moynihan, James Moag and Bernard Buckenmeyer (Geraldine). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Our Lady of Good Counsel site) Darien Center, NY. Monday, Feb. 17th. at 10:00 A.M. (Assemble at Church) Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
