He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nuwer and Clementine Nuwer; his parents-in-law, James and Louise Czarnecki; and his sibling Heliana Blount (Donny).
He is survived by: his wife Tina Nuwer (Czarnecki); his siblings, Suzanne Faulman (late Gary), Kevin Nuwer, Michele Nuwer and David DiSalvo; and his sister-in-law Sharon Rebmann (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
