It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William C. Whiteman of Dansville, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Whiteman and Marion Whiteman; his son Ron Merle; his siblings, Gladys Swick (Elmer), Pat Whiteman (Harriett) and Jack Whiteman; and his brother-in-law Gordon Rowley.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Whiteman; his children, Don Merle (Joan), Pat Maskell (Richard), Bruce Merle and Brian Whiteman (Eileen); his daughter-in-law Marilyn Merle; his siblings, Jean Rowley, Nancy Smith (Richard) and Marge Reynolds (Jim); and his sister-in-law Chic Whiteman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
