He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Holbert and Arla Holbert (Gillmer); and his sisters, Elaine "Penny" Hall and Helen Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cloran; his children, Ronald Holbert Jr. (Sheila), James Holbert (Alison), Vivian Young (Thomas) and Gail Kelly (Todd); and his siblings, Lee Holbert (Jean) and Beverly Hart (David). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sparta Center Church.
