He is survived by: his siblings, Donald F. Schirmer, Christine L. Schirmer and Steve Schirmer (Tracy); his nephews, Donald F. Schirmer Jr., Colby Schirmer, Brock Schirmer and Jonathan Schirmer; his niece Caitlin Schirmer; and his stepson Jeffrey Rider.
