He is survived by: his wife Joanie Moose Hughes of Bath; his children, Danielle Watson (Matthew) of Trumansburg, Dustin Saltsman (Stacy) of North Carolina, Curtis Rice Jr. of North Carolina and Ryan Rice (Sharalyn) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Alexyn (Skyler), Cody, Brandon, Tyler, Alexander, Christopher, Katherine, Alivian and Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Maddox.
