She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel F. Knappenberg and Charles W. Knappenberg of Dansville. She is survived by: her husband James Blum; and her children, Karen, Jim (Lynne), John (Neelam), Charles (Lynn), Roger (Ann) and Julie (Carolyn). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
