It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lou Barden (Dansville, New York), born in Hamburg, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Swanson and Helen Swanson; and her siblings, Jean Carroll (Jim) and Jim Swanson (Fran) of Penn Yan. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Barden (Jerry); and her children, Janice Hinman (Bruce) of Spencerport, George "Jody" Barden of Canandaigua, Pamela Carlson of The Villages, Fla, Rose Anne Rawlings (Dan) of Yorktown, Ross Barden of Dansville and Beth Tillman (David) of Penn Yan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Dansville United Methodist Church, 5 Chestnut Ave., Dansville, NY 14437, or the Resident Fund at the Livingston County CNR, 11 Murray Hill Drive Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
