He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Englert and Mae Englert (Robinson); his former wives, Marian Englert and Kathalene "Nadine" Englert; his daughter Patricia Englert Bowers; and his siblings, Merton Englert, Eugene "Pete" Englert and Arlene Grouse.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Pamela Linfoot (John P. Jr.) of Geneseo; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Englert of Springwater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and Nadine's children.
