With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Floyd Kenneth Burns of Dansville, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer K. Burns and Blanche Burns (Hoshard); his grandson James Travis Burns; his brothers, Homer, Robert, Dale and Gary Burns; his former wife Ann Burns (Ashley); and his stepson Edward Kuhn.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Burns (Ashley); his sons, Anthony Burns (Donna), David Burns, James Burns (Robin), John Burns (Stacy) and Mark Burns (Debbie); his siblings, Karen Dudley (Tom) and Rex Burns (Shirley); and his stepdaughters, Lorna Kuhn and Brenda Kuhn (Ed Whalen). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (40 Elizabeth St, Dansville, NY 14437). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the Bath National Cemetery.
