We bid farewell to Catherine Jane Hoag of Dansville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Catherine Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Donovan and Genevieve Donovan (McComb); her spouse De Merle Hoag; her son-in-law Ron Jamison; and her siblings, Ruth Croston, Doris Dennison and Richard Donovan.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jamison, Noreen Miner (Fred), Tim Hoag (Cindy), Bill Hoag, Dave Hoag (Kellee), Ken Hoag (Tammy) and Pete Hoag (Brenda); and her brother Robert Donovan (Michelle). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. (271 Main St, Dansville, NY 14437). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (40 Elizabeth St, Dansville, NY 14437).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Vincent House, PO Box 566, Wayland, NY 14572, or a charity of choice.
