He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Shirley Pepp, James Makepeace (Unadah) and Thelma Rocklin (Tom); his aunt Donna Pingery; his brother Jeff Makepeace; his sister-in-law Jennifer Makepeace (Hickey); his nephew Benjamin Makepeace; and his niece Addison Makepeace.

He is survived by: his friend Thompson Hospital; his parents, Mary Makepeace (Pepp) and Jake Makepeace (Pepper Makepeace); his sister Jennifer Makepeace-Yerkovich; his brother-in-law John Yerkovich; his nephews, Jonah Makepeace (Ally) and Malcolm Makepeace; his niece Fennel Makepeace; his great-niece Magnolia Makepeace; his aunts, Arden Neubauer and Cheryl Hoffman (David); and his friends, Frank Mueller and Travis. He is also survived by friends and cousins.
