She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Carey and Helena Carey (Neis); her spouse Richard "Bud" Acomb; and her son Peter Acomb. She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie "Peach" Klass (Elliott), William Acomb (Carol), Dennis "Worm" Acomb (Brenda) and John "Jake" Acomb (Linda); and her brothers, Robert Carey (Mary Jane) and John Carey (Carol). She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
