She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Kennedy and Lucy Kennedy (Rushford); her siblings, Philip Kennedy, Lucille "Ceci" Haley, Jerry Kennedy and Arlene "Denie" Patnode; her brothers-in-law, Russell Haley and Francis "Sonny" Patnode; and her nephew Russell Haley, Jr..

She is survived by: her son Mark (Stacey) of Plattsburgh; her husband Leo Maggy; her children, Michael (Cheryl) of Plattsburgh, Marty (Barb) of Plattsburgh and Shelley Beaudoin (Jim) of Malta, NY.; and her grandchildren, Allison (Alex), Kyle Maggy (Hana), Ethan (Catherine), Emily, Sarah Beaudoin, Mitchell Maggy (Brooke), Ashley and Matthew Maggy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and all of her great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Youth Group, St. Joseph's Catholic Daughters, or the Dannemora Fire Department.
