He is survived by: his children, Wilfredo Cortez (Jessica) of Matamoras, PA, Ramon Vargas Cortes of Puerto Rico, Yevette Cortes of Puerto Rico, Sandrayella Cortes of Boston, MA, Adelaida Cortes of Puerto Rico, Amanda Cortes of Albuquerque, NM., Joseph Ruzanski of Cuddebackville, NY, Robert Lemke (Adrienne) of Newburgh, NY., Mary Ruzanski of Detroit, MI, Louise Duffy of Detroit, MI and June Lemke of Smithfield, NC; his sister Luz "Lucy" Cortes Andujar of Middletown, NY; and his sister-in-law Gayle Cortes of Port Jervis, NY.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
