He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Hadden and Goldie M. Hockenberry Hadden; his wife Maxine A. Bunk; and his siblings, James W., Theodore Patrick, Robert E. Hadden, Arlene Donnelly and Emma Kellogg.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel F. Hadden II of Cuba, Alan Hadden (Dann) of Olean, Tracy Powley (Jerry) of Cuba and Tamie Holmes (Spike) of Friendship; his grandchildren, Adam Powley (Amanda) of Pawleys Island, SC and Angela Price (Nick) of Hanover, PA; his great grandchildren, Wesley Powley, Benjamin Powley, Gabriel Powley, Emily Powley, Dexter Price and Charlie Price; and his sisters, Betty Jean Hadden of Selinsgrove, PA and Dorothy M. Cessna of Greenhurst, NY..
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cuba Grange (116 E Main St, Cuba, NY 14727).
