He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard E. Beard and Anis F. James Beard; his wife Sandra Ann Arzberger; his brothers, Edward Beard (Ann), Russell Beard (Marie) and John Beard; and his nephews, Gerry and Curtis Beard.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen A. Hays (Terence) of Oneota; his granddaughters, Phoenix B. Beard (Luthaya) of Friendship and Courtney M. Hays (Elijah Sullivan) of Albany; and his siblings, Ethel Simon of Lafayette, IN. and James Beard (Jessie) of Zanesville, OH.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home (24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba, NY 14727). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cuba United Methodist Church (49 E Main St, Cuba, NY 14727).
