He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Clayson, and Lenora Clayson, Sr. (Allen); his spouse Bozena Vera Mareckova; and his siblings, Vernon Clayson, Jr. and Virginia Williams (Clayson).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Wentz, Jr. (Arthur) of Olean and Joni Hanchett (Timothy) of Eustis, Florida; and his grandson Arthur Wentz III of Olean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
