He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Holmes and Helen Tarbell Holmes; his sister Donna; his brother-in-law Michael Phillips; and his aunt Madeline.
He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Clark; his daughters, Jennifer Karcher (Robert) of Farmersville and Bridget Holmes of Farmersville; and his sisters, Daphne H. Bruce (Terry) of Rochester, Diana K. Holmes of Rochester and Dorothy L. Holmes of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made the Church or to the Farmersville Fire Department.
