She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thatcher and Constance Thatcher (Moore); her sisters, Debbie and Pam; her brothers-in-law, Donnie McGinness and Tom Dorsett; and her nephew Paul Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Hanson; her daughter Vickie; her friend Crown Point; her children, Larry Hanson (Gabrielle) of Naugatuck, Katherine Grudzien (Steve) of Tampa, FL and Jason Hanson (Jennifer) of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Ashlyn, Larry Hanson, Janee, Nickolous, Sara, Cameron Tarmey, Carter and Paisley Hanson; her stepgrandsons, Louis Troiano and Steven Grudzien; her great grandchild Aaron Stevenson; her siblings, Steve Thatcher (Aggie) of Crown Point, NY, Walter Thatcher (Marlene) of Crown Point, NY, Donald Thatcher of Crown Point, NY, Sue Dorsett (Mike) of Crown Point, NY, Sharon LaFountain (Dan) of Crown Point, NY, Lisa Harrington (Dan) of Crown Point, NY, Ginny Barone (Bud) of Morris, CT and Maureen Morgan (Greg) of Pasadena, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Jeff Hanson (Donna) of Naugatuck and Barbara Winslow (Gaylord) of Middlebury. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
