He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Spring and Merle Spring (Kirby); his wife Lorna (Woods); and his siblings, Kenneth, Harold, Marian "Betty", Francis, Merrill "Bud", Leroy, Carl and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur Spring (Sue), Brenda Meachem (Roger), Linda Lang (Ralph), Robert Spring Jr., Sharon Norton (Bob) and John Spring (Jill). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
