We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 77, Susan Jeffers (Croton on Hudson, New York), born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Jeffers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice L. Adelaide and Ernest W. Jeffers. She is survived by: her friend Jean Marzollo; her daughter Alice Phillips; her son-in-law Chad Phillips; her grandchildren, Macie, Graham and Soren; her close friend Rocky; and her siblings, Judy and Bill.

Along with flowers the family requests that donations in Susan's honor be made to Teatown Lake Reservation.

“I’m so sorry to hear that sue left us. I painted with sue for 8 years at silvermine with kirill. We endured his intense, robust critiques but always returned semester after semester. Sue was an inspiration whether braving the landscape or sharing a still life to paint. She gave me one of her books a few years ago and i will cherish it always.”
