She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sorenson and Myrtle Sorenson (Alford). She is survived by: her husband Edward; her sons, Edward Jr. (Joi) of Naples, FL and Jonathan (Janai) of Naples, FL.; her siblings, Karen O'Riley, June Sorenson Jenney and Fred Sorenson; and her grandchildren, Jayde, Jeremy, Joshua, Tyler, Samantha and Jace Walsh.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home (41 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Church (114 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to Muscular Dystrophy Association for Polymyositis research or World Wildlife Fund – Tigers.
