David Bruce Laemmel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bruce Laemmel of Croton on Hudson, New York, born in Greenwich, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Magui Sanchez of Ecuador; and his father William D. Laemmel. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Laemmel; his brother Pietro Piga (Italy) of Italy; his children, Cooper, Bryce and Sophie; his wife Jennifer Brown; and his siblings, Peggy (Staten Island), Billy and Bart (Colorado).

Since Bruce was a huge conservationist and was concerned about our planet earth and carbon footprint, In lieu of flowers please consider planting a tree in his memory.

“Bruce was one of those special people with whom I felt an immediate warmth. Lighthearted, sweet and sincere. We met him when he became our contractor in Croton. A true gem of a soul. It was always fun to discuss necessary projects with him. I will always recall the quality and fairness of his carpentry and marvel knowing that, despite this, he mentioned his dyslexic. He will truly be missed. I send my deepest condolences to his family.”
